We live in challenging times. Numerous global threats jeopardize our existence and the sustainability of our planet. Yet, signs of new possibilities emerge amidst this darkness, characterized by wisdom, unity, peace, and hope. The rainbow symbolizes our collective journey during this period, representing harmony, unity and balance. Its beauty captivates us, embodying enlightenment and unity through diversity, just as sunlight refracts through water droplets to dispel doubt and despair.
A collective awakening is essential for our future. In 2004, the World Commission on Global Consciousness and Spirituality stated that a global shift in consciousness is the most powerful force for transforming culture and promoting human flourishing. This shift moves us from destructive and dysfunctional thought patterns toward a more integral, holistic, and awakened awareness and spirituality. Such a transition is crucial for ending violence and fostering cultures of peace. We are increasingly recognizing our interconnectedness. As Chief Seattle wisely observed, "All things are connected like the blood that unites us."
In this transformative era, we are called to awaken to our true purpose and use our gifts for the greater good. As the Arizona Hopi Nation Elders have stated, humanity stands at a crossroads. Hope lies in embracing courage, speaking our truth, building our communities, and looking within for the leadership we seek.
Now is the time to nurture our healing, express our gifts, and pursue our dreams. Marianne Williamson reminds us, "When we let our light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same." Eleanor Roosevelt encourages us to "believe in the beauty of our own dreams!"
What is your deepest and wisest creative self inspiring you towards?
Exploring beautiful, natural, and significant sites is one of my passions. In Southern Utah, the Rainbow Bridge is a natural wonder that holds special significance in Navajo culture as a sacred symbol of life. My husband and I were fortunate to visit this remarkable site during our hiking adventures in the Southwest, and this experience continues to inspire me.
